What we keep
Your email address, and your name if you give it.
A sign-in code, as a hash. It works once, for 10 minutes.
Your session. It ends 30 days after your last visit, or after 90 days.
Both keep the IP address and browser they came from.
What you save, follow, highlight and collect, and what you set. A saved story keeps its headline as it was.
What you read, for 7 days, or until you clear the day.
Whether a Brief to you bounced, or was marked as spam.
What we don’t do
No analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels and no third-party cookies.
Two cookies, both our own. One keeps you signed in. One keeps your choice of Light, Dark or Automatic.
Our email has no images and no pixels.
Who else sees anything
Resend sends our email, so it sees your address.
Cloudflare carries the site, so it sees each visitor’s IP address.
Outlets’ logos come from logo.dev, once, to our server. It sees our server, never you.
Our server keeps ordinary request logs for 30 days.
How to leave
Every Brief has an Unsubscribe link.
To delete your account, write to [email protected]. We delete it, and everything in it, within 7 days.
